Reservation Request Form (For Friedens' Members)
Reservation Request Form: Please fill out the following Reservation Request Form, if you'd like to reserve Friedens' Fellowship Hall and/or Park Pavilion for a wedding reception, funeral or other event. After your request is submitted, it will go through an approval process. If approved, the Contact person will receive a Confirmation email.
Please Note: You must be a member of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church to coordinate an event using the church facilities. This same church member must be present during the event and will be responsible for cleaning up the reserved space after the event is finished. This would include the areas/items of the kitchen, Fellowship Hall, Park Pavilion and any other reserved areas involved. If damage is incurred, it will be the responsibility of the member that reserved the facility. Keep in mind that guests attending the events must stay in the reserved areas--a safety factor for our members, guests, neighbors and facility.
Event Approval: The Church will allow the requested space to be reserved during the hours specified by the Contact person (church member of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church), if the event described herein is approved by the Church Council/Elders.
Set-up and Clean-up:
Please note that the date and times requested should allow for set-up and clean-up time. The start time should represent the hour at which the person reserving the space will be arriving, not the time at which the event begins. The end time should take into account clean-up of the facility after the event.
Important Notes
- Tables can be rearranged, as desired, taking note of the original table arrangement.
- After the event, the tables and chairs must be returned to where they were found.
- Please bag all garbage and dispose of in the outdoor trash receptacles, located on the east side of the church (loading dock area). (Please do not leave garbage inside the church facility.)
During the Event: During your event, all unreserved spaces of the church property/grounds are not permitted for use (other events and/or meetings and classes may be going on simultaneously). If the event is approved, it permits the people reserving the church property to use only the planned space (and parking lot), on the event date, during the event hours specified--and only for the purposes that are specified in the description of the event.
Recurring Events: Please make it clear in the description that the event will be recurring, if this is the case.
Ladies Aid: If you have any questions, regarding the kitchen area, or if you will be needing assistance with food, food storage, food preparation, serving, etc., please call Marilyn Grassmann at (612) 619-4172.
Fees: Our facilities can be used free of charge; however, you may give a donation to the church, as desired.
Livestreaming Your Event: For weddings and funerals, livestreaming is an option. Please make sure to tell Heidi Gilsrud (952-758-2828), if you'd like your wedding or funeral to be livestreamed. The livestream event will then be put on our website. The charge for livestreaming is $50.
