WELS congregations donate thousands of Meditations devotionals to WELS Prison Ministry each year.  WELS ships roughly 10,000 copies to jails and prisons around the country.  Inmates enjoy reading Meditations, Time of Grace pamphlets and Grace Moments and ask for them by name.  Through your donation of these publications, people who have never read or heard God's Word, might finally get to know their Savior!

If you are looking for a place to repurpose your leftover Meditations, Friedens will gladly take them.  Just drop them off in the church office, and the Administrative Assistant will send them to the Prison Ministry in New Ulm, MN.

Here are some guidelines:

1. Please make sure Meditations, Time of Grace pamphlets and Grace Moments are no more than one year old.
2. Please donate copies that are not curled, torn, stained, written on, or have addresses on them.
3. Forward in Christ and other magazines or books are not sent to inmates. 

WELS Prison Ministry recycles all donated materials that do not meet the above guidelines.
